For Universities & Research

From research to market — without losing the science.

Innovation happens in labs and lecture halls — but turning a prototype into a market-ready product is its own discipline. I bridge the gap between research and market readiness, from first customer validation through to first revenue.

Frequently asked questions

Universities — what operators typically want to know.

How is go-to-market for a university spin-off different from a classic startup?

With spin-offs, the product is often technically mature, but market access is missing — market validation with real, paying customers rarely happens in a research setting. So I start with ICP definition, pricing hypotheses and first pilot customers, rather than building big funnels. Industry buyers, licensees and tech startups all follow very different sales logics.

Does STRADANO also support licensing models and technology transfer?

Yes. Licensing, selling to industry, and building your own go-to-market are three very different routes — each with its own sales methodology. I help you choose the right commercialisation path based on the specific research results, market readiness and team strengths.

What does mentorship offer beyond pitch coaching?

Pitch coaching is day one; after that comes customer acquisition, pricing negotiations, building out sales, and investor relations. I stay involved hands-on over several months — not just as a sounding board, but as a co-operator with my own experience building sales in both corporate and startup settings.
